Please note that yesterday there was a change of delivery date for CATTLE, COCOA, COFFEE and COTTON instruments. Clients who have had opened positions were credited or debited with proper swap points amounts.
These are:
- CATTLE -1625 swap points for long position; 1625 swap points for short position,
- COCOA 182 swap points for long position; -182 swap points for short position,
- COFFEE 65 swap points for long position; -65 swap points for short position,
- COTTON -238 swap points for long position; 238 swap points for short position.

Please note that today, at the end of trading day CATTLE, COCOA, COFFEE and COTTON underlying instruments will change their delivery dates. Current difference between prices of futures with consecutive delivery terms is:
- COFFEE approx. -0.60 USD,
- CATTLE approx. 1.250 USD,
- COTTON approx. 2.18 USD,
- COCOA approx. -247 USD.
It means that if nothing occurs between today's closing and tomorrow’s opening, open price for:
- CATTLE, COTTON should be higher by given values,
- COCOA, COFFEE should be lower by given values
Change of position value connected with base change will be corrected by swap points equal to base value. Clients with limit and stop orders close to current price are kindly requested to adjust their position to changes in base value. Otherwise stop and limit orders will be executed according to standard procedure.

In anticipation of high volatility and low liquidity expected during the upcoming week due to the US elections, RallyTrade will temporarily adjust leverage to a maximum of 1:100.
This adjustment will be effective from 13:30 (Nigerian time) tomorrow, the 1st of November 2024, until further notice. Please note that this change will impact existing and newly opened trades across all platforms, increasing the margin required to maintain open positions.
We strongly recommend that you review all open positions and ensure your account has adequate free margin to handle the updated trading conditions and anticipated market fluctuations.
Future announcements regarding any further changes will be posted in the "Announcements" tab on the RallyTrade website. We encourage our clients to regularly check for updates.
