Please note that yesterday there was a change of delivery date for COCOA, COTTON, VIX, VSTOXX instruments. Clients who have had opened positions were credited or debited with proper swap points amounts.

These are:

- COCOA 788 swap points for long position; -788 swap points for short position;

- COTTON 184 swap points for long position; -184 swap points for short position;

- VIX -106 swap points for long position; 106 swap points for short position;

- VSTOXX -85 swap points for long position; 85 swap points for short position.

Please note that today, at the end of trading day COCOA, COTTON, VIX and VSTOXX underlying instruments will change their delivery dates. Current differences between prices of futures with consecutive delivery terms are:

- COTTON approx. 1.11 USD

- VSTOXX approx. 0.85 index points

- VIX approx. 0.97 index points

- COCOA approx. -809 USD

It means that if nothing occurs between today's closing and tomorrow’s opening, open price for:

- COTTON, VIX, VSTOXX should be higher by given values

- COCOA should be lower by given value

Change of position value connected with base change will be corrected by swap points equal to base value. Clients with limit and stop orders close to current price are kindly requested to adjust their position to changes in base value. Otherwise stop and limit orders will be executed according to standard procedure.

Dear Client,

Please be informed that RallyTrade has identified a recent trend where accounts are being overexposed during high impact fundamental news resulting in losses for RallyTrade clients. For this reason, we will temporarily limit leverage at times of scheduled high impact events at a maximum of 1:100.

This temporary change will take place at 12:00 until 14:30 (Nigerian time), on Friday, the 7th of June 2024. Please note that existing / opened trades will be affected on all platforms effectively increasing the margin required to keep those positions opened.

We strongly recommend reviewing all open positions and making sure that your account has sufficient free margin to cope with the updated trading conditions and increased market volatility as soon as possible.

Any such future measures will be announced on the RallyTrade website in the "Announcements" Tab thus we encourage our clients to regularly check for updates.
